劉曉義

劉曉義是新加坡藝術團體「避難階段」的藝術總監,並在過去二十多年裡擔任導演、編劇、演員等多重角色,參與了超過80部劇場作品。他同時活躍於策展、教育與文化評論領域,並曾獲得多項獎項,包括新加坡「李光耀金牌獎」(2010)、新加坡國家藝術理事會的「青年藝術獎」(2016)及南洋理工大學的「傑出青年校友獎」(2022)。2023年,他被授予「藝術與文化遺產貢獻獎章」,並三次獲得新加坡「金筆獎」。2024年,劉氏被《亞洲週刊》評選為「全球傑出青年領袖」。他創辦了多個重要平台,包括新加坡首個中文劇場評論平台「眾觀」及「最南階段」跨文化藝術節,並致力於發展數位技術與藝術合作的「不再劇場」專案。此外,他創立了全球性青年文化領袖孵化平台「避難學院」,並策劃了獨立藝術節「末端試驗」。目前,他是江蘇南通臨江新區的簽約藝術家,並擔任新加坡藝術大學南洋藝術學院的高級研究員及國際交流顧問。

Liu Xiaoyi is the Artistic Director of the Singapore-based arts group Emergency Stairs. Over the past 20 years, Liu has taken on multiple roles as a director, playwright and actor, participating in over 80 theatre productions. He is also a prominent curator, educator and cultural critic and has received several prestigious awards, including the Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal in 2010, the Young Artist Award in 2016 by the National Arts Council of Singapore, Nanyang Outstanding Young Alumni Award in 2022. In 2023, he was honoured with the Patron of Heritage and the Arts Award and has won Singapore’s Golden Point Award three times. In 2024, Liu was named one of the Global Outstanding Young Leaders Awards by Yazhou Zhoukan. He has established numerous significant platforms, including Singapore’s first Chinese theatre review platform Re-Viewers and the Southernmost. Liu also spearheaded the digital arts collaboration project No More Theatre and founded the global youth cultural leadership incubation platform Emergency Academy, along with the independent art festival The Peripheral Experiment. He is currently a contracted artist for Linjiang New District in Jiangsu and serves as a Senior Research Fellow and International Exchange Advisor at NAFA, University of the Arts Singapore.
